Richmond Hill Park Work Day
Come spend a few hours in this beautiful public park helping to get it up and running again. The park is about to re-open after citizen action convinced Asheville City Council to preserve the majority of this unique woodland area.
It is a beautiful time of year at Richmond Hill--wildflowers are starting to bloom, trees are budding out, and spring is in the air! But there is work to be done before the park is ready for public use again. The WNC Disc Golf club has been working hard to restore the park, and they have asked for help. The repair of the park will help control erosion, which is vital after the City's disasterous grading and clearing activities.
Enjoy the spring weather at Richmond Hill, and participate in this wonderful hands-on community effort!
